Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Adds 5 New Members

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has just added rock icons “Metallica“, first generation Rap Artists “ Run-DMC“, legendary blues/rock guitarist “Jeff Beck“, R&B songwriter/singer/musician “Bobby Womack” and the 1950′s-present R&B/soul/doo-wop vocal group from New York “Little Anthony and the Imperials“. The official ceremony will not happen until April 4,2009 in Cleveland, the home of the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

The amount of bands that have not made the final cut aka…RUSH….Moody Blues….Deep Purple and many others, have made the hall of fame controversial among rock fans, and some think this is on purpose to have people talking it…

Leave your comments and tell us what you think about the Hall of Fames blatant lack of respect for some of the all time bands, and if you think this is on purpose or just plain oversite……

Here is a video of Metallica talking about the inclusion into the Hall of Fame and fielding questions.
