Do you play Rock Band? Harrah’s and MTV have put together a competition to see who the best Rock Band teams are for a chance at over $50,000 in prizes. The winning members will get a $10,000 first place grand prize, and will be performing live as the warm up band for the B-52′S at the Atlantic City location of the House Of Blues on May 9.

The regions have been set up as North, East, West and South and will give a chance for all of the potential bands to choose an area close to them, and get practice time close to home before heading out.
Rock Band also just announced this week that they will be releasing some Nirvana songs for the game and can be bought thru the console or online for $2 a song.
