Linkin Park Still In Europe

Where has Linkin Park been? The World tour for the very popular Nu Metal/Rock band has been playing to sold out shows all over Europe, and are still adding new dates and cities. Reports from the bands various websites say that Linkin Park is working on new material for an upcoming album to be released this year. After having their three studio albums all sell more than Four million copies, Linkin Park’s History is well established and the new album will have a lot to live up to, but you can expect that the current members will come through with some more top rock songs that will be in the Top 20 Charts, here is a list of the current lineup of the grammy award winning band. Plans For Woodstock 40th Anniversary Show

Promoters are taking their time in getting the word out on the planned 40th Woodstock Anniversary Concert for August of 2009, The early word is that it will be a free show, and they want to treat it as low carbon footprint type of event, this should make all of the arrangements a little tougher to achieve, so maybe this is the reason for the the delay.

Buckcheery On The Road Supporting Black Butterfly

Reborn L.A. based band Buckcherry has been touring with Avenged Sevenfold and Papa Roach in support of their current hit album Black Butterfly. They have a breakthrough song in catchy Rescue Me, that has made the Top 20 Hard Rock Chart and is getting a lot of airtime with rock channels.

Has Velvet Revolver Found Their New Singer?

Slash and the boys in Velvet Revolver have been on the search for a new singer since their breakup with former frontman Scott Weiland has officially been stated, but with the way things work with Velvet Revolver, this may just be temporary.

The band has let some auditions from Canadian born singer Gord Prior make there way to YouTube, and this may be a sign that they have settled on the vocalist from the band Blu Bones. Little is known about Gord, but if he is confirmed as the singer, all his background info will leakout.
