Chevelle Releases First Single From New Album – Jars

The band Chevelle has been recording and touring since 2000, and they have had two #1 top rock songs with – Send The Pain Below – and – Vitamin R – in the past, but the new single – Jars – has hit the charts with some major airtime, and it looks like they have a major hit from the yet to be released album, Sci-Fi Crimes that is due to hit all of the record outlets September 1st, 2009.

The History of Chevelle shows that the band has had their share of controversy, when they were first recognized as a Christian Rock Band and when they went on tour with the bands of OzzFest, the members let the public know that they are at best recovering Catholics and never wanted anyone to get the idea that they are a faith based band.

You can check out Chevelle as they are on tour in the United States, and are probably getting ready to extend the dates since the currrent release – Jars – has made such a fast jump into the top rock charts………
