The Stone Temple Pilots released the first single from their new album named oddly enough “Stone Temple Pilots” that is due out on May 25th. Between The Lines jumped right into top 20 rock charts.
It seems that plenty of people were waiting to hear something new from the band after the rumors started that they had been writing songs together again. One of the most popular bands of 90′s ran into many problems before breaking up.
Scott Weiland has had a well documented of drug abuse and rehab, and the fact that the shows they have been doing in the year have been drama free, has been reassuring to fans.
The band has plenty of top rock songs that include Plush, Creep, Vasoline and Interstate Love Song that have been considered some of the best rock riffs from the Nineties. They are planning a tour in support of the new CD and you can expect The Stone Temple Pilots in 2010 to be one of the hottest concert tickets this Summer.
They are doing a pre-release signup on their website for the much anticipated new music. Critics have been giving the tracks lots of love and you can expect some more releases this year.
